Teresa Davenport began Davenport Design & Development in 1996. Applying skills gained through her M.S. in Instructional Systems Design with specialty areas in Organizational Development as well as Educational Technology, Teresa and her team of consultants has always been at the forefront of designing innovative learning and performance solutions. D3’s accomplishments include:
•200 projects completed to date
•Projects typically involve large-scale organizational change in the form of implementing new processes, learning new products and services, as well as culture, leadership, and soft skills development
•Teresa works with organizations with an eye toward developing a regional talent pipeline. Her experience in workforce development combine with her relationships with secondary and higher ed leadership, as well as civic and business/industry leaders and legislators to make her a central force in equipping local job seekers with skills needed for both today and tomorrow’s jobs

Funny story - Dr. Ormond was Teresa's high school Chemistry teacher once upon a time! Flash forward about 20 years and they met again. This time Dr. Ormond was Coordinator of Career Technical Programs at Wallace Community College. Dr. Ormond enlisted Teresa to perform ACT WorkKeys Job Profiles for WCC, and over the years Teresa did several additional projects for WCC under Dr. Ormond's direction.
Flash forward again...Dr. Ormond has retired from a successful career as a national expert on WorkKeys Job Profiles, and has served as Dean of WorkForce Development at not only WCC but Chattahoochee Valley Community College as well! As Teresa has moved on in building her practice, she has come to rely on Dr. Ormond as a trusted D3 consultant, providing WorkKeys profiles for D3 as well as C-level consulting on various organizational development topics including building a regional talent pipeline.

Shelby Leigh Smith
Shelby Leigh Smith brings a new dimension to D3 with her amazing ability to quickly grasp and apply instructional design and technology. Not only has her Master's in Instructional Systems Design given her academic credibility, she has also successfully completed numerous projects and received outstanding recommendations from her clients. A proven leader both among her academic cohorts and her work teams, Shelby Leigh brings tremendous value to any project she touches. Some of her recent accomplishments include creating a new learner-centric instructional design model that incorporates early learner engagements through social collaboration as well as a focus on long-term retention. She has worked with Teresa to create a customer service model that has already been successfully used by several clients. She also has a wide array of tools, including Storyline 360, Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and more.

Debbie is a diversified trainer and instructional designer with extensive experience in the analysis, development and/or facilitation of instructor-led, online, and e-learning training curricula customized using accelerated learning principles designed to meet the needs of various learning styles and training environments, including the following:
•Creating more than 250 instructor-led, virtual and elearning courses for corporate business, academia, government, manufacturing and healthcare organizations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Captivate
•Customizing and facilitating more than 75 train-the-trainer/presentation skills workshops
•Conducting job and task analyses for workforce development
•Facilitating virtual and classroom courses, subject matter expert focus groups and webinars
